2nd Annual Spring Riviera's in the Park April 11, 2010, - 2nd annual Spring Riviera's in the park. The Toronado Owners from Houston were invited as well. We had a small group, 4 Rivieras, 2 Toronados and a potential TOA member with a '66 currently in restoration. What a beautiful day, for a picnic. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Baked beans, and awesome "Son In Law" chocolate cake to die for. .We were able to take in Hardy Rawls Seafoam green 1965 Gran Sport. It was restored in '79 and looks like it was painted yesterday. Mike Glaz brought his awesome Bright White Diamond Metallic 98. It is always a pleasure to see Sam Henry's Marlin Blue '63 1 family car and Dan Neiss' Desert Beige '64. Mario Ortiz brought his 1970 Nugget Gold Toronado. It was nice to see the contrast of color from the 70GT to the 1966 Trumpet Gold. The park was very beautiful with trails, lake and fishing. Although it was a small group a good time was had by all.
