Re: Rebuilding Gen 4 Struts
So, it looks like Monroe Strutmate 63622 boot will work on the rebuilt strut, and you can modify / cut down by an inch a Dorman 523-237 Jounce bumper to work. I'll post photos when it is back together.

Re: Rebuilding Gen 4 Struts
So ... Rock Auto says there's an aftermarket kit MEVOTECH MP63622. This led me to doing some digging and it seems like that same kit is used on a Chevy Impala. So ... I searched AC Delco and came up with this Monroe Strut-Mate 63622 Suspension Strut Bumper and Bellows Kit for Chevrolet Impala. I jus...

Re: 92 Toro motor mounts
This was the reply on the Olds forum that helped me find the right part ... I strongly suggest you buy yourself the seville 4.9 engine mount and pull your existing mount. Once you do this you will see exactly what needs to be done. I cannot comment on the easiest way to accomplish the modifications ...

Rebuilding Gen 4 Struts

I have the strut unmounted and disassembled but the bumper seems to be absent (whomever replaced the struts last time omitted replacing the part  ) and the boot long since disintegrated. OReilly has...

Re: 92 Toro motor mounts
I used one for a Cadillac from the same vintage, but you need to drill holes in the frame as they are 90 degrees out. It worked beautifully though.

Re: GM Passkey on 4th Gen Toros
I had the same message many years ago on my 92 Trofeo ... and this is going to sound strange, but it was immediately after an earthquake. I've heard in the past that quakes put out electrical disturbances. In any event, the issue cleared with the Trofeo in about 4 hours. Actually, the same day, my w...

Gen IV Air Conditioning
Hi all, I need some input. I have a Gen IV .. 1992 Trofeo. It has a new A/C compressor (well ... 2 years old) and is full on refrigerant. When the temp outside drops to between around 55-65 F, the system says the A/C refrigerant is low . Occasionally it will flash refrigerant very low message. I had...

Re: 92 Brake proportioner valve
There seems to be no listing for a 'new one' anywhere. I was also looking for a good substitute, but cannot find any cross reference
