Re: Removing 67 front wheel bearings
Jim at applied GMC is familiar with the later 69 and up 3-piece bearing. He very graciously looked into the 66-68 1- piece bearing like I have but it’s a different beast. There has to be somebody who has removed these bearings without destroying them. I know they can be cut and off with a torch but ...

Re: Removing 67 front wheel bearings
Thanks Otto. I’ll call him again tomorrow. When I talked to him last week maybe he didn’t understand my question when he said no special tools required. I’ll try to be more clear.

Removing 67 front wheel bearings
Anybody have info on the bearing puller to remove the front wheel bearings on a 67 Toro with disc brakes? Not sure if the GMC motorhome setup is the same; I have a 1 piece bearing and the motorhomes use the later 2 piece bearing I believe. Applied GMC sells a 2- piece clamshell puller for the motorh...

Re: Final drive leak....
I know this is an older thread but I was wondering if the front end is raised (ramps) could the differential oil collect in the housing and rise above the vent passage and leak out? While changing the engine oil my 67 was on front- only ramps and I noticed oil dripping from the driver side axle 6 bo...

Re: 67 Toro Rear Window Drain Outlet Caps
Yes, are there any caps or covers that allow water out but keep other stuff out like mice, etc? I find it odd that GM provided rubber outlet caps 4548417 for the trunk wells but not for the larger drain outlet holes for the rear window plenum.

67 Toro Rear Window Drain Outlet Caps
Hello, I've searched this site but have found nothing about any rubber outlet caps for the rear window drain tubes. I'm familiar with the 4548417 rubber outlet caps that fit into a 1" hole for the trunk wells. But the rear window drain holes are 1.5" dia. Was there a different drain cap fo...

Re: Newbie Question?
I found a picture of it from Fig. 6EB-11 from my 67 Toro service manual. It's called a "Filter and Silencer Assy". A hose connects to the air pump. California emissions. I had asked the same question on another site ClassicOldsmoble.com

Re: VINYL ROOF INSTALL
I’m in the process of searching for a replacement vinyl top for my 67. I’ve only found two places: SMS and USA Parts Supply. Both say they can match the original black levant material. I haven’t removed my original top yet so I don’t know about the C pillar molding clips. The top tucks under the sid...
