Okay, will do! I just ordered the Lucas Hot Rod Oil for $42 on Amazon. Quite expensive, but he said that it’s meant for this car and it’ll help in the long run. I checked the content for the Lucas Break-In Oil and think it’s a bit too much: about 4,500 ppm. For the regular oil it’s about 2,100 ppm.

Does this come with the joint? It’s the axle and it’s $108.99 per side.

Re: Head Gasket Replacement
Okay, I’ll check them out and see what I can do if my budget permits. As for the heater core, the part number for ‘69 is different and it looks very similar, just a difference in terms of ridges on the top and bottom of it. Would a ‘66 fit in mine? Just want to make sure.

Re: Head Gasket Replacement
For the heater core, where can I find a replacement? It seems like Autozone and RockAuto don’t supply one.

Re: Head Gasket Replacement
Oh I almost forgot about that! The mechanic noticed that the boots are gone and suggested that I could replace them but if I wanted to I can replace the joints for assurance. As for the transmission, when it got warm, it would vibrate from first to second gear if I drove normally but went away if I ...
