Leaking axle seal at diff. (66) New seal needed?
Thought it was my diff cover leaking gear oil. Turns out it is the seal where the splined shaft enters the diff.
Anyone know of a source for these? I am not having any luck so far. This is on a 66, not sure if other years are compatible.

Re: 66 Drum to Disc Conversion
.
Whoa, thats good news to me! Better than digging up 70's toro and re-scraping it. Could you post an item #, and issue of the catalogue so I can e-mail them about it? A scan of the page would be awesome too. This is something I wanted to do to my 66.
I will post more info when I get...

Re: 66 Drum to Disc Conversion
Sorry to bump an old thread. I have a similar question though. My new Kanter auto products catalog claims to offer a complete front disk conversion for the 66 Toronado. Not cheap at $1,099 but not outrageous if it works in my mind. Has anybody had any experience with this kit? I don't see a listing ...

Re: Trim ring tabs
I have had one tab replaced before. A local hubcap shop did the work. This was 5-8 years ago.

I have had this 66 for about 15 years. http://ridethere.smugmug.com/photos/65353344_ZNmKv-M.jpg http://ridethere.smugmug.com/photos/65353348_R72qm-M.jpg Time to get her back on the road after a 1-1/2 year nap. Time and money have been in the way all along. That and long cold winters... Hope to get t...
