mystery pieces, '66, can you help me identify?
I found these 2 pieces in one of the boxes from when my Dad took the Toro apart. IMG_3550.jpg He is no longer with us for me to ask, does anyone out in TOA land know what these are, where they go? They look like some kind of blank, and with the paint striping, maybe from around the front grille or t...

Re: Hagerty Insurance
Roland; NOW this makes sense. I don't have the drawing for the front, and my year drawing was smeared during copying. Would it be possible to get these two pages in high resolution? I would be forever indebted!!

Re: Hagerty Insurance
Bumper fillers: yes, I think I see how the vee shaped one fits into the uppermost part of the bumper ends, but I couldn't figure anywhere lower down for the other one, the "lower bumper filler" as sold by Fusick. If you think/can confirm it is up toward the top also that might help me figu...

Re: Hagerty Insurance
I have new front bumper fillers, and newly re-chromed bumpers. I just can't figure out where/how the fillers go in? My Product Manual shows how for the rear fillers, but not the fronts. I can't locate a "natural fit". If you send pictures it would be hugely appreciated.

Re: Hagerty Insurance
Otto; I agree with your recommendation of Hagerty, they are treating me well with a tricky damage claim. However, MUCH bigger than that, what car burned? Please don't say your '66 Toro !!! Ohhhh, I just read of your Toro fire, I am devastated for you Otto, damn!!! If/when you get things settled in y...

Re: remote mirror escutcheon, or bezel
Thank you Roland, I saw such a circlip in a picture on eBay.
Anyone know of a source for circplips?, else I guess I'll have to fashion something.

remote mirror escutcheon, or bezel
Does anyone know, or preferably have a picture of how a remote mirror cable terminal connects to the bezel? Attaching the bezel to the door is easy, but what securely connects the cabling to the escutcheon to gain the remote action? My Toro is a '66, but my (late) Dad added sculpted mirrors, both si...

trunk lid interchangeability
I am looking for a new trunk lid, it appears that 66, 67 and 68 are all the same, can anyone confirm this?
Also, I am looking for a new trunk lid, if anyone knows of one in good shape I am interested.
Thanks in advance.
