Re: 69 Door glass wanted
Found one - coming from a parts place in Pueblo, Co. Looks like they may have more parts from a 1970.

77 Brougham
Found a '77 Brougham while junking last week. It's a wreck, but still has some pretty good parts to pick. Hit on passenger side behind door, so that quarter panel is shot. The hood is buckled, but fenders seem good, 413 c.i. engine is still there and the rear end is good. Glass good other than winds...

Re: Co-op for Toro parts?
No news yet. Apparently when your Web site offers inquiries by email, you don't need to respond to them. I'm going to call them this coming week, but here's their site: http://mooresautosalvage.com/ They say they have a few Toros of different years - good news is Rapid is about as dry as here, so ru...

Re: Co-op for Toro parts?
All good questions. Guess my thought would be to work out a deal where the scrapyard keeps the car - then go strip what we all need and they can crush the rest. I do have a co-worker who is a dealer/junk man locally, so I have him on the trail of one too, if that works, then storage isn't a problem ...

Co-op for Toro parts?
I have a line on a few Toros wasting away in a couple of dry (Wyoming dry) graveyards within a couple hours' drive from here - question is, I don't need an entire car to scavange, just a few parts here and there - so I'm wondering about forming some sort of parts co-op if the only way to get what I ...

Re: Memorial Day Car Show
I hear ya, but you can always bring the fishing poles - there seems to be lots of Minnesotans vacationing out here!

Re: Just took the plunge!
Agreed, though I was considering the quartz clock conversion kit on ebay ... for now though, I'm probably going to put it together and concentrate on getting her running and look for a new dash face plate - at some point, the radio area was chopped a bit, so it doesn't look that great anymore. The d...

Memorial Day Car Show
Just FYI: the Oil Capital Car Club will host its annual Memorial Day Car Show in Casper, WY. Here's the link:

Not sure if my Toro will be on the road by then, but it would be nice to see some Toros represented!
