Re: Just took the plunge!
It's been several months now since the Toro has brightened my garage. I've made some progress including a major overall cleaning, tearing out jerry-rigged wiring and an old stereo (I have the original AM radio). Even with the official service "bible," that dash is a pain in the @#$ to get ...

Interior trim screws
Just received a package from Fasteners Plus (off of Ebay) with a variety of black interior screws - they're washer screws with smaller heads. They have black and chrome ones. They have a big collection of various fasteners for GM cars. The price for my lot was 9.99 for a variety of 50. Shipped fast ...

Re: Just took the plunge!
I've started a blog to document bringing the Toro back to life. It's still in its infancy, but here's the link. I'll also post odds and ends that I find and hopefully some new information.

Hi John,
Wondering if you have an extra ash tray (front dash) plus the dash lighter?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Come on people!
Mike, Thanks for the welcome! Not sure, everything so far says it's from Casper most or all of its life. Haven't totally researched the VIN though. Wherever its from, it was pretty dry plus the owners undercoated it so really no rust. I do plan on using the site - I'm quickly figuring out the challe...

Good to hear. This will be an exercise in patience - glad to know there's others out here who have/are taking the same road.

Re: Come on people!
I'm a newbie too - just bought mine so I'm looking for advice/talk/support, whatever. I thought this site had died, most of the posts are old and though I've had 20 people check out my introduction, I know that at least 6 of those were me checking to see if the post was still good. Additionally, I w...

69 Door glass wanted
In need of passenger door glass for a 69 Toro. Posted under parts for sale, my bad - sorry. Also, if anyone can tell me what glass is interchangeable - i.e. would a 69 Eldorado window fit? Will 66-70 glass work? Thanks in advance! I have received a couple of quotes through uneedapart.com, but one is...

69 Passenger window
Hi all - I'm looking for a passenger side door window for a '69 Toro. Are these interchangeable with other years? Are they interchangeable with the Eldorado same year? If you know of any good boneyards or Toro suppliers, any help is appreciated. If I find any out here, I'll post the same. Thanks, Jeff
