touch-up paint

Does anyone have a hands down favorite supplier of touch-up paints. On the flip side, anyone had any bad experiences they can help me avoid?

Lots of choices out there, I'm hoping to make the right choice the first time, any and all advice appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Re: horns location

This is VERY helpful Otto, thank you. I think I may have the horns from another vehicle. Hence I will go "back into the boxes" my Dad packed many years ago. His gift of the "1966 Toro assembly puzzle" continues :-]

horns location

The horns I have do not have the same bracket configuration as the 1966 Product Description Manual, and for the life of me I can't figure out where to mount them (see attached pics). Maybe I'm missing a bracket, maybe I have the wrong horns. Could anyone describe or better yet take a picture of how ...

Thanks!

tool for dash bezel (escutcheon) nuts?

I am trying to find a tool or suitable workaround for loosening and tightening the round dash bezel nuts that hold the headlight switch (and probably some other switches I don't have) into the dash. A pic is attached, it has 4 little detents at about 5/8" diameter. I've dinged up enough dash be...

Re: Remove Dash Cluster

I did contact them Otto, as always many thanks for your advice and guidance. Once I get mine all together and running down the highway (78) I too will be an expert :-]

Re: Remove Dash Cluster

I am in the process of re-assembling my dash. I did not disassemble this car so I'm mostly winging it. I've put in a new wiring harness (Lectric Limited, it is nice), new ducting, and rebuilt the dash. My question is order of re-assembly, ... I'd prefer to not have to take this apart and put it back...

Re: '66-'69 right side remote mirror

Oops, I may have made a mistake here, ... I have remote mirrors for both sides, sculpted and painted, but it looks like my Dear Old (late) Dad planned those as an upgrade from later a later year Toro, because I don't see that kind of mirror showing up until the 80s. The doors are all drilled and pai...

'66-'69 right side remote mirror

Could someone with a passenger side remote mirror please show a pic of how it passes from the door through to the dash, i.e. is there a rubber weather boot in the door opening?, and also, where does it end up mounting at/on the dashboard?

Thanks in advance.
