Re: 1966 Toro Fuel Line Diameter and Length

Wild Guess: 10 feet of hose is enough for three cars. Been forever since I've been under mine...but...I'd expect less than a foot of hose up front in the engine compartment, and about the same in the back connecting to the tank. All the rest should be metal tubing. Although I do have half-a-memory o...

Re: Looking for a Remote Oil Filter and External Oil Cooler Setup for the 455

If you remove the aluminum oil filter adapter on the Olds engine, you'll find a pair of drilled holes--one out, one in. All you need to do is attach to the inlet/outlet holes. You can do this with an adapter bolted-on using the OEM gasket and bolt holes, or you could maybe drill the holes a little o...

After seven + years, I must increase the price.

Bushing insert kit with Toro / Eldo alignment recommendations and installation guide = $140 shipped in the USA.

Re: toronado Carb

my old carb is still leaking from the fuel bowl into the manifold. After just one day sitting it needs serious cranking to restart. I repaired the well plugs with threaded plugs and glued them in. They withstood the soap and pressurized air test, but there was no change from the very beginning... ....

Re: High torque starter

The ONLY aftermarket high-torque starter I'm aware of for Toronado was sold by RobbMc Performance. http://www.robbmcperformance.com/products.html However, I don't see the Toronado/Eldorado unit listed on his site any more. Discontinued, I suspect. You could contact him to confirm, though. The GM/Del...

Re: Remove Dash Cluster

The worst part is finding broken pins where the wiring connects to the cluster gauges. I've forgotten which gauges these are. The original pins are brass, and seem fragile where they "rivet" to the circuit board. A bunch of mine were broken. I replaced them with steel machine screws. Not i...

Re: th425 550hp /600 tq

I considered collecting the A/C drain water to keep from running out. The evaporator condensate will be chock-full of dust, other particulates, and even algae. Open up an A/C evaporator case, and (around here, at least) it'll be partially-clogged with leaves, pine needles, even mouse nesting materi...
