Re: 1967 DeLuxe Resto

You're correct, they are difficult to replace. I found the rear set to be harder than the front.

Re: 1966 throttle cable

I recently contacted 3 companies in the US about making new throttle cables for our 1966 cars and non of them wanted the business.

Re: Toronado Intake Manifold Exhaust Crossover Problem

Otto, O'Reilly Auto Parts carries a spray paint line called "VHT" that has the correct engine color for '66 Toronados. It is expensive a $10 per can. I asked about having the engine color mixed using Omni urethane and they quoted $60 per quart or $40 per pint. Several years back when I bui...

Re: Generation 1 exhaust

I also ordered a pair of exhaust tips from Summit Racing. They are not exact replicas, but are close enough and much cheaper than the exact reproductions.

Re: Windshield Wiper Blades

I replaced my wiper blades with NAPA part# WIP61833 priced at $9.69 each. FWIW, I believe these are identical to, and made by Trico, part# 33-183.

If anyone has a spare, I need to acquire an original stainless steel wiper part that attaches the arm to the blade.

Re: Power Windows - Rear

I bought a new window motor from O'Reilly auto parts for my '66, so I would think they would be available for yours.
