When I read this post I did the same thing as Otto, I purchased a second set of front wheel bearings from Rock Auto. When I bought new ones a year ago the best price I could find was $79 each.

Otto, You need the same lengths of 3/8" and 5/16" fuel lines. The 3/8" is the supply and the 5/16" is the return. When removed, the front hose sections measured 51". Suggest purchasing 11' of both sizes. Due to the difficulty of making connections at both ends, I suggest usi...

The small throttle return spring should fit inside of the larger one so that they are connected in the same holes.

Each time the drums are turned to remove scoring they become less concentric with new brake shoes. Find a brake shop that can radius your brake shoes. When the drums and shoes are not concentric, the shoes press only on a portion of the drum, limiting there effectiveness. Marty , St.Louis, MO 2-1966...
