Re: Looking For Parts and Accessories Sources For 1966 Toron

Yes and no the built date is not actual the date the car was built, very good evidence though does show that, it is the date the order was placed into the system, this was determined comparing build sheets to the given cars. Which yes would be the first week of Dec 65.

Re: Looking For Parts and Accessories Sources For 1966 Toron

As of yet i do not know the exact beginning or end of the crease run.Agreed there is only a 39 unit separation as far as the VIN ins concerned. It is though a body related item hence the sequence is dictated by the EUC number of the body plate AKA body ID/production number, and bears no relationship...

Re: What IS The Correct Radiator Cap Pressure For 1966 Toro?

I would be inclined to use the recommended 15/16# cap, the reason for this is the boiling points. The higher cap pressure increases the boiling point of the coolant most engines run 195 deg thermostats. So your running 17 deg's below 212 (at atmosphere) the 16# cap along with 50/50 mixture water/ant...

Re: Gen 1 fuel line replacement / length?

The in bound from the tank is 5/16 I believe the return is 1/4, I'm sure I'll be flogged and hug by the yard if i get this wrong .... it has to do with keeping the fuel cool in traffic or at time when fuel consumption is low, with out the return your running a head pressure from the pump carb which ...
