My car's paint is looking dull after just a year, need to change my habits
I've had my car for about a year and I'm already noticing the paint looking less vibrant, especially on the hood. I think the combination of sun and dust has taken a toll. A colleague at work mentioned a really helpful guide he found and told me to click here to read it when I have time. I finally did and it's full of practical advice for our climate. It covers everything from washing techniques (like using a pH-balanced shampoo and avoiding direct sun) to the importance of waxing every few months and parking in the shade. It also explains how sand can scratch the paint if you wipe it off dry, which I've definitely done. I feel like I have a much better plan now for protecting my car's finish. For those who have kept their car's paint in good condition for years here, what's the one product or habit you swear by? I'm ready to step up my game.
