I am having a hard time finding a place that restores toronado interiors or a place to buy replacement interior parts. Am I missing on something 40,000 toronados produced and no aftermarket industry for Toro's?
I have two door trims i need to restore in Off white. Can anyone suggest anthing
Thanks
Max H

40,000 isnt much over 44 years, alot are lost. And for some reason, they're not very collectable. Nobody wants them. eBay and here are probably your best bet for cosmetic parts

I had to replace the entire interior in my 66, all of it was found on e-bay.
my car originally was a white standard interior , but i settled for what was available and it's now black deluxe int. the seats, dashpads, carpet, rear panels and original, complete jack assy. i went and picked up in upstate NY, 700 mile round trip.
the front door panels had to come from 2 different sources and the rear package tray and seat trim came from another.
the front seat has a couple splits and typical wear on driver side but is presentable, everthing else is in real nice shape.
don't get discouraged, it's out there and you'll find it.
for me searching for parts has been a thrill, i also needed most exterior trim and was able to find it all in decent, say driver quality condition.
It's not like we have 442's , there is no opening up a catalog for most of our needs.
when your interior is located and complete you will have a greater sense of accomplishment than the guys at the cruise inn's with their chevelles.
Good luck in your hunt.

Re: Restoring a 66 interior on a Toronado
I am looking for a steering wheel center piece to restore my Toronado .
I saw online soemone who sells the ones for " non titl steering wheel" is there a different center piece for the ones with a title steering wheel option? The plastic piece ( i think its plastic-car not in my place) is cracked and since evertyhing else looks great , I thought it should be as perfect as the rest.
Where can I get one.
I also need someone to DECODE my 66 Trim Tag , The ones on the forum is for 1970 and on... some #'s on the trim tag I couldnt tell what they represent.
Whats the 11A stands for ?
