Hello All,
We are restoring a low mileage 77 we bought from the original owner near Chicago. Although the car was always garaged and was driven very seldom since 1990. This was great for keeping the mileage down, lack of use meant we racked up some expense to make it run reliably. We aren't complaining, it's a great car. One of the smaller problems is that the driver's side door lock is missing a part that connects to the lock cylinder. The door cannot be unlocked with the key. I saw an ad in Parts Wanted for a Pawl, I think its the same part. I'm waiting for a reply from the person who posted that ad, and have used the suggested link to search for the part with no luck. It isn't critical, but I'd like to be able to unlock the door without having to crawl across the seat.
Another part I'd like to replace is the flexible breather tube that connects to the air filter, ours is dry rotted full of holes. Any advice on these items or anything else will be greatly appreciated.
