Well, I've been a Toronado owner for 5 years... The first car I bought was an '89 Trofeo, with full options, and it's really what got me started on cars. Since then I've picked up an El Camino, a Camaro, and a Fiero, and now, the other day, a '66 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe: The car I've wanted ever since I knew it existed. Just in time to replace my '89 Trofeo in my collection, as I've just sold it.
All the trim missing in the pictures is in the trunk, or the back-seat. Though the windshield, and air-cleaner are both missing. The engine runs, but it's tired, and will be getting a rebuild. When I was looking at the car, none of the electronics seemed to work, but just a few wire-wiggles, and I was astonished to discover that every single component in the car is operational! (excluding the AC, which I haven't been able to test)
There's a little rust around the wheel-wells, but the trunk is spotless, as is... well... everything else except where the bottom edge of the windshield rests on the dash.
I'm a bit dis-appointed with the interior color being brown, but I think I know where I can get a turquoise one to swap out. But, to compensate, it is fully loaded with every factory option!
Beginning, and end of an era...

Virginia, about 80 miles NW of Duluth
I'm hoping to rebuild the engine over the winter, then I'm gonna have fun with it next summer before tearing it down to rebuild the whole car.

Heh, good eye. Yes, thats my 86 Fiero. Toronado's, El Camino's, Fiero's, and DeLoreans. I like my cars unique I dont have a DeLorean yet, but that will be the next car I buy, and then, my collection will be complete, and I will have every car I want.
