I've always admired the early model Toronado. I've been fortunate to recently purchase a nice example from a buddy.
1966 Standard Toronado. Porcelain White, blue interior, tinted glass, AC, PW, P. Trunk, Tilt and Tele and AM-FM Wonderbar. Seems like a really solid car and runs/drives amazing (knock on wood).
I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as I get to know the car.

Sweet! Post more pictures of the interior, engine, etc.

How many miles on it? Has it always been a Canadian car?

It's originally a SW US car. The headlight assemblies have been converted to electric also.

Electric conversion is nice. Post pics of that setup.

Interesting that it has so many options but appears to have the standard bench seat.

Is it a Base or a Deluxe?

My car is a DeLuxe but the buyer deleted the a/c AND the electric windows! What a dope!

They used to let you option up a Base to be better than a DeLuxe or delete stuff from a DeLuxe to make it lower than a Base. Back when the customer was always right.

They seem to work well.

Cool. Do you flip a separate switch to raise them and then turn the lights on with the regular light switch?

You're missing a fender bolt, by the way. (Second photo, , dead center in the upper left quadrant)

The headlights on/off still work off the stock switch, the actuators work off a 3 way switch on(up) off on(down).

Check the throttle linkage to see if the trans wiring is stock, or has been converted
to an electronic switch pitch controller. Cannot see in the pic. Bruce Roe
