That's good. Those plastic fender extensions and bumper fillers on GM cars of the 70s and 80s were terrible. The rotted off the cars in just a couple years sometimes.

I have one more question. :?:
Why can't I find a 1973 oldsmobile toronado model car anywhere? :?
I've seen a model car of every make and model but just not mine.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

Serto,
There was a promotion series 1/25 2.gen Toronado. And Jo-Han had produced a pikes peak hill climb racer kit. But not cheap if you find one. Take sometimes a search in ebay and maybe with luck:

Thank you Roland.
I've seen them before, but never from 1973.
Yes, only the search goes on :|

Since he learned his trade here at GM Suisse and has worked with American cars for 40 years, I believe him.

Has anyone done this before? is it really like that? The only way?

My experience is, the gasket on chain cover, on the back of the
transmission, is the biggest leak problem. Need to pull the trans
to work on it. The original cork gasket has issues, some of us
glue the cover back on with good results. Bruce Roe
