Since he learned his trade here at GM Suisse and has worked with American cars for 40 years, I believe him.
Has anyone done this before? is it really like that? The only way?
My experience is, the gasket on chain cover, on the back of the
transmission, is the biggest leak problem. Need to pull the trans
to work on it. The original cork gasket has issues, some of us
glue the cover back on with good results. Bruce Roe
