Been a Toro lover since the first ads from GM came out with the intro of the 66. I always vowed to own a first gen one day and while it took 40 years putting it on the back burner for other of life's necessities I finally was able to fulfill that dream. Bought as a basket case 67 in Minnesota we flew out to buy it and drove it home...choking on the many exhaust leaks and poor performing engine lol. A few years of hard work and excellent body restorations from a local body shop specializing in older makes, the Toro finally was rebirthed. It garners a lot of attention every where we go and even managed to win a few trophies at local car shows...one especially dearest from the famed RM Restorations.
A bit more than a decade ago i was a member of the Toro club for a brief spell and am looking forward to a longer stay here
Thanks for allowing me on board and look forward to good times ahead.
