Hi everyone!
This is my 66 Toronado! It is a base model. I used to live in Las Vegas, this car actually used to be at John Dorsey's lot out in Vegas. I hear his name quite often on this forum and thought it would be time to post my story of my Toronado! I received the car back in 2012 from a family friend who knew John and had it sitting in John's Toronado graveyard for years. So my family friend gifted me the car to bring her back to life. Here are some pictures of the car out in Johns lot back in 2011-12 before being restored.
After restoring it with my dad and grandpa. The autumn bronze paint job with the red interior sparked the nickname of the car "Rosie". Hence the username being 66Rosietoro
My dad and I are currently in the process of restoring some parts ( new fuel pump, paint valve covers, new door arm rests, cap, rotor, the list goes on..) to bring her back up to speed again after sitting for a couple more years out in the Vegas sun. We now live in the Midwest and want to enjoy her during the nice autumn days! Will post pictures if anyone is interested and wants to spread some advice!
I have loads of questions for restoring the car back to top notch shape. But for now, cheers for this forum and everyone's love for the Toronado!

That's great. The car looks perfect. Was the engine and trans usable as is or did you have to have them rebuilt?
