I am searching for an original 1966 throttle cable (this year only) which has that plastic sleeve towards the spring (see pic).

I recently contacted 3 companies in the US about making new throttle cables for our 1966 cars and non of them wanted the business.

From what I can see, that cable is very much like many other cars. Is the length longer?
If another cable was close, the bracket on the carb could be modified to improve fit.
