Lew, I have a set of the splash guards for my 67 that I want to reproduce so others can get these. I just don't have a reasonable source yet. Most people need these, especially the corner pieces tend to get broken off. Also, there is the rubber air dam that connects to this, and there are rubber splash guards behind the front wheels which I have patterns for. I've made these for my car.

I need the ones behind the front wheels. Did you pour them into a mold? Can you make more?

The ones behind the front wheels are essentially a piece of rubber cut to fit. There are 2 bolt holes if I remember correctly (i have the pattern and made a couple of sets). One bolts to the bottom inner fender, while the other bolts to the frame. Check your car out. These usually get ripped off either through use or by mechanics working on the cars over the years. They were actually pretty flimsy, not very thick rubber, so most didn't survive. I'm also not sure they were that effective in preventing splash from the front wheels.

There are the hard plastic corner pieces in front (have cutouts for sway bar in front). The center piece is a large plastic piece with the large air dam rubber piece stapled to that (it then connects to front bumper). The large plastic piece and the side pieces (a continuance of the center piece essentially) are frequently broken. I have the part numbers for those as well.

It took me a while to figure these out and find patterns for the pieces, but I have a complete set of all. Just need to find a way to reproduce them at reasonable cost (that's the really tough part!). I have cut out the large air dam pattern as well from the same rubber sheet used for the rear splash guards. These are very large pieces.

The hard plastic ones on the front of mine are intact and in good shape on my car. One side has a crack but otherwise complete.

I didn't know the rear ones were masticated rubber (like what mud flaps for trucks are made from).

Would you be willing to mail me tracings of the rear ones so I can make my own? Or maybe post a photo with scale drawings and measurements if they aren't too complex..
