Door rubber

Postby Noolder » Fri Mar 04, 2022 6:52 am

The original window/hardtop rubber on my 77 was coming apart. My research found two sources which claimed to have accurate reproductions. Neither was correct. Both left a gap on top and sides. The shop adjusted the windows as much as possible without fixing the gaps. I have had to plug the gaps with auto weatherstripping that doesn't work all that well and looks terrible.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

What are the two companies that supplied the wrong rubber?

Do you still have the original rubber to compare the profile with potential replacements?
