'66 plenum chamber drain hoses

Postby roland » Sun Feb 27, 2011 8:43 am

Silly question maybe ?

Got new tubes from Fusick - two in a package. Tried to mount them yesterday but they are about 10 inch to short

What is wrong? In the 66 Oldsmobile manual I found no picture of these tubes. On page FRONT END 3-3 (!) they wrote:
...water entering the rear plenum chamber is drained out through attached hoses that extend through the floor pan or rear quarter filler panel...

That all !

How I have to use these reproduction hoses and what is missing to make the propper drain ?

Well, I dont know about the repro's, ive still got my factory orriginals. But it looks like they are two pieces. Maybe the repro's are just the bottom half, sonce the top is more durable?

Here's some pics:

Thank you Twilight Fenrir :D

With your pics I found both hoses with fasteners in one of the parts boxes of my project.
Now I can complete the trunk.
