Neither side has the torsional dampener. Although this looks alot more like your example. I'm planning on refreshing the Cadillac one and putting it back on the car as this new one is Chinesium. Judging by your example I'm going to say my passenger side must have also been replaced because the boots do have more folds.

So the new one i bought from parts geek is correct fow a 66 Toro. It is in the car now and have been driving every day for a week with no problem whatsoever.

That's great info! If you get a chance can you get some photos of how it fits? I'm always on the lookout for correct parts and I'd like to see if yours was modified at all to fit the replacements.

Yes as soon as I can figure out how to get the picture to post. I can tell you there are no modifications, direct bolt in.
