threads on the brake line connections 1966 Toronado

Hi folks,

I have a question concerning the ’66 Toronado' brakes. It’s a single master 4 drum brake system as we all know.

There is a brass distribution block below the master cylinder. 4 connections, two bigger ones , ¼”line for the master cylinder and the line to the back and two smaller ones, 3/16” line for the front brakes.
The thread for the union nuts of the 3/16” line is 3/8-24, I am not sure what the tread of the ¼” lines union nut is. It is definitely a bigger one as the 3/8 but with the same pitch as the -24 thread. Is there a 7/16-24 thread union nut??

Then there is the rear brake hose (no longer available) connecting the ¼” line from the front to the rear brass T- piece . The size to the wheel cylinders is 3/16” line, the union nuts are 3/8-24. The input connection on the brass T has definitely a 7/16-20 thread.

I am not sure what threads the master cylinder connection and the long line front to back have, I guess it’s a 7/16-24 but never saw that one around???

Harald
