Cees,

You must buy a service manual and that can help guide you on disassembly. You'll have to replace the CV boots; I think you may buy the entire assembly, but we took apart the ones on my car, cleaned and inspected them, and replaced everything. If it's helpful to you, here's the FB page where we are restoring my 67 and a 69 Toronado. Scroll through the pictures and you can see the those parts and many more. Your 68 will be the same on those parts. https://www.facebook.com/PerfectShapeCu ... =bookmarks

Good morning from Holland
My "Problem" is solved disassembling the drive shaft was successful because there is a balancing piece on Axel shaft of 10 cm in the middle of the drive shaft, it was not possible to get out this on a normal from the Toronado Must remove the oil filter and the starter motor after that removed. It came out easy must lift the right site of the car an little
Now I can start cleaning the drive shaft and renew the boots ..
Facebook.. yes I do want to see al the work on the Toronado's

Remove left axel ? Don…, Driveshaft is out and now on the workbends. Must take off the Knuckle totally . This was I think the only way to get out the driveshaft, The biggest problem was the upper control arm I have no splitter so i must use an Hammer to get it lose.. The unther control arm easy Balljoint was bolted on...
