You have to set up a special holder so you can make the lines all straight, but it's pretty easy to do.

Thanks Tim
I guess this is the route most will have to take unless or until someone starts to make the hose. Did you have any issues with hose diameters - inside or outside? I've read some material where the ID and OD of the hoses differ enough so that they won't fit into some applications where they are tightly grouped like the headlight remote control valve. Do you have any pictures of your finished hose with the color applied? I have seen the white and yellow hose, I will buy what ever color hose is available and make the ones that aren't like you are doing. I've been thinking about a jig for marking the hose and keeping the lines straight, what contraption did you come up with?

Since you would buy a set of these markers and set up a jig, I would just stripe all the colors. Buy the black stuff in "bulk" as it's much cheaper and just mark them. I don't have all this done and assembled yet. I had a piece around here that I tried it on. Then I let it cure/dry for a bit. The paint drys fast. I think I may have cleaned the tubing off with alcohol, or better yet, wipe with Lacquer thinner. Then stripe it. After drying, I bent the piece around a bit to see how well the paint stripe would stay on, and it was very good. There was a little bit of crack marks, but that shouldn't be much of a problem because once there are installed, they really aren't bent around. A little time under the hood with engine heat and they will be completely cured.
