Well, I found a "mate" to the early spindle, so now I need to find some ball joints: the lower K5205 joints don't show up on Rock Auto, or Autozone, but NAPA shows them for $179 ea ! under their Rare Parts brand. Ouch.
I only paid $75. for the spindle.. Maybe it would be more cost effective to find a later spindle that can use a less pricey ball joint.
Carmen / Bill / Others, can you recommend a source? Does Kanter sell these parts without the kit?
Carmen, do you have a part number for the 3 hole upper ball joint with the thicker stud?
Thanks!

Ooooops, yeah that original spindle was discontinue in lieu of the later style hence all of the up dated parts ..... Ah not really sure of what to say I guess in for a penny in for a pound as it is for now.

I would not recommend anything from Kanter except as a last resort.
Suspension parts for my '56 Cadillac from them are/were absolute crap from China. They are pretty well known in the Cadillac circles for selling poor quality, junk.
I have a friend in Australia who is restoring a '57 Cadillac. All the new, Kanter rubber suspension parts literally disintegrated on the car over a year's time while it was in the shop undergoing restoration.
Front springs on my car sagged after a few years. The originals sat taller after 45 years on the car.
Maybe cutting out NAPA will save a little money. Here's Rare Parts information.
Rare Parts Steering and suspension parts from 1930 to present. Will custom make a part if they don't have one.

I have a GM box for Ball Joint Package (Upper) Group 6.164 with part number 393367. I have a set of, I think, TRW joints that I can't seem to find right now. I'll shoot you the number when I find them.
I do have a set of LOWER later model joints for sale ($100 delivered to the lower 48) if you decide to go that route.
