69 toronado head questions...

Postby Zeppelin » Sun Jun 29, 2014 4:58 pm

So I've herd the old's 455 heads are really bad about oil return and wondering if that's for the other 455's or is the Toronado included in this? I know the 455 in the Toro is supposed to be the same as the 442's I'm just trying to see how close of an eye I should keep on my tachometer. As well I'm getting hardened Valves and would like to know the valve sizes...I'm redoing all the valve train just because I feel like it... Want it to run like it's brand new.. so any tid bits you know that are suggested for the heads please chime in... I will also be de burring the heads when I do the valves... Thanks guys love the support!

If you're going to all that trouble you may as well polish and port the heads.
