I would like to replace the rear rubber brake line and cannot find a replacement.

Can someone recommend a source?

My car is an original 2 owner SOCAL car known in the Olds club, I'll post post photos soon....

It would help to know what year car you have.

Rock Auto has them for my 1966 ($16) so I would imagine they have them for yours regardless of year.

You should buy the front hoses as well if they haven't been replaced already. They may look OK but if they are the same vintage as the rear one they could be deteriorating internally or have cracks that aren't visible.

Anyway, if you can't find them ready made, most parts houses - even the chains - can make them for you using your old one as a template. A place that repairs construction equipment could probably make you one as well. I've found that they often make their own hydraulic lines to repair Bobcats, backhoes, etc.

Thank you. Mine is a 66 Deluxe. It is 100% original; Black plate SoCal Car from new. Never painted and stunning original white interior. Been in with my neighbor for the last 35+ years. I'll post photos soon.

Forgot about Rock Auto. I talked with The Hose Man and once I mentioned "brake line for car application I was told we don't want the liability".

Thank you
