66 toro exhaust bolts
I was hoping someone could tell me what type of bolts fasten the exhaust manifold outlet to the exhaust pipe. Is it the type with springs or studs and brass nuts?

Re: 66 toro exhaust bolts
Are you referring to the exhaust manifold to intermediate pipe flange bolts? If so, these are special bolts and are spring loaded to allow for engine torque load. This keeps the graphite/asbestos gasket/ring from self destroying as the engine moves under load in the mounts.
I have samples and can get you pictures. These are probably at least grade 6-8 bolts and have a special taper/thread length for it's function. I DOUBT you can get them OEM anymore....but it's possible to find them off donor cars or possible from cross application use. Let me know if you need further assistance.
