Limited slip differential

Postby DrewD0569 » Thu Sep 24, 2015 8:20 pm

I'm considering buying a 1990 Toronado Trofeo (this one has 150k miles on the odometer). I have limited knowledge of Toronados and would like to know whether a limited slip differential was standard, optional, or even available for the 1990 model year. As near as I can tell, the 4T60/4T60-E in the fourth generation Toronadao can at least be retrofitted with a limited slip differential. Why do I care? I live in the northeast region and, because of the snow, would love to have a front-wheel drive car with a limited slip differential and which was MADE IN AMERICA. Can you all help me with a little information? Thank you in advance!
