Removing 67 front wheel bearings
Anybody have info on the bearing puller to remove the front wheel bearings on a 67 Toro with disc brakes? Not sure if the GMC motorhome setup is the same; I have a 1 piece bearing and the motorhomes use the later 2 piece bearing I believe. Applied GMC sells a 2- piece clamshell puller for the motorhomes but not sure if it would fit mine? Any other ideas? Thanks

I would contact Jim at Applied GMC and talk to him about it. He's been quite helpful to me in the past

Thanks Otto. I’ll call him again tomorrow. When I talked to him last week maybe he didn’t understand my question when he said no special tools required. I’ll try to be more clear.

Re: Removing 67 front wheel bearings
Jim at applied GMC is familiar with the later 69 and up 3-piece bearing. He very graciously looked into the 66-68 1- piece bearing like I have but it’s a different beast. There has to be somebody who has removed these bearings without destroying them. I know they can be cut and off with a torch but I’m looking for a non- destructive procedure. Anybody?? Thanks
