Hwy78 Cruiser,

Here are the fillers for the rear bumper. The front is similar.

The install at the lip of the bumper edge at the top. I glued mine in place with black Weatherstrip Adhesive.

Here's a front bumper end and a rear filler. Maybe you can see how they fit together. Obviously these two parts aren't meant to go together but they're close enough to convey the idea.

I recently purchased front rubber bumper fillers from Fusnick Automotive Products Part# BF66EUF, for my 1966 Toronado. It is not clear to me how these are supposed to fit. If they sit on top for the bumper, the internal "V" portion does not correspond with the chrome piece which caps the end of the fender as they have two indentations which interfere with the fender piece.

If anyone has photos of these fillers installed on their car I would like to see them.

FWIW, I will be bringing my car home from the paint shop tomorrow. I worked almost every day with the bodyman during this four month period. I took the car to him on September 10th, 2022. Before taking the car to him I removed all chrome, trim, mouldings, emblems, doors, hood, taillight panel, glass, and trunk lid. Old paint was chemically stripped and the car was DA sanded twice, and washed in acetone before I took it to him. This took a little over a week. The inside lips of the trunk and engine bay was sanded and painted, as was door jambs, underside of trunk lid, hood, doors, front and rear vents. Still have to adjust the doors, install door glass, install rocker panel mouldings, install exhaust tips, and have rear bumper replated. We painted the car with the doors, hood, front and rear vents, and trunk lid off of the car so that the jambs could be prepared and painted. Before prepping for paint, we sandblasted rocker panels, trunk lid, hood, and doors, inside and out. The backup lights and front cornering light housings were blasted and painted and the lenses were polished. The front and rear bumper brackets were blasted and painted. All of the stainless steel trim and moulding were polished before re-installing.

Car has had the entire brake and suspension components replaced (except for springs), new tires, chrome wheels blasted and painted, motor was removed, cleaned, and freshened inside and out; heads were rebuilt, transmission and torque converter rebuilt; all weatherstripping and rubber components replaced; radiator flushed and boiled out; correct carb purchased and rebuilt, fuel tank removed, sandblasted, and coated; all new hoses; all new fuel lines, new carpeting. Exhaust system was replaced from manifolds to exhaust tips using Buick Grand National cross flow muffler. Windshield and rear glass was removed and resealed with polyurethane. Headlight actuators were removed and cleaned. Also used new moulding clips and new window fuzzies. Purchased new window motors for front windows.

I'm close to finishing this project. Marty, SE Missouri
