I found these 2 pieces in one of the boxes from when my Dad took the Toro apart.
Thanks in advance if you can help me solve this mystery. I hate to find out later that I forgot to install something, and have to take it all apart again (speaking from experience here).

He is no longer with us for me to ask, does anyone out in TOA land know what these are, where they go? They look like some kind of blank, and with the paint striping, maybe from around the front grille or taillights???mystery pieces, '66, can you help me identify?

Thats easy! These are the covers LH and RH between trunk and rear window under the rear grille 1966 to 70. Its to close and safe the trunk hangers for dirt and water. They should be black colored.
