Throttle dashpot

Postby KaydenST » Sun Apr 16, 2023 5:01 pm

I am in need of a throttle dashpot for my '66. I know most people don't bother replacing them, but I'd like to put one on my car. Problem is, I am having a hard time coming up with a source. The one I had would make the throttle stick on a higher idle intermittently, so I threw it out and don't have it anymore. From what I understand they aren't rebuildable. I was just wondering if any of you have any pointers or maybe have one that you'd be willing to part with. Thank you! Factory part number is 392902

Aside from ebay or Obsolete Olds, call John Dorcey. He has over 50 Toronado parts cars

His contact information is in the Parts and Reviews section at the bottom of the forum ( '66-'70 Toronado)
