I recently purchased a 66 Deluxe oriiginal California 'black plate' car. The exterior is original very faded Ebony Black (Paint code AA) with a few dents and the interior is presently black with tan leather seats and tan headliner. The original trim code is TR 054-K. I think that means 'parchment' but not sure what the 'K' is for. The options codes are EXYS 2KR 3P. Options I have noticed are power strato bench seat, power trunk release, power windows, power antenna, and comfotron a/c.

It means your car is high in potassium... *nods-nods*
But, no, seriously, I checked with my service manual, and it lists a couple options for K, but I'm not familiar with decoding tags, so I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking at.
Under the Factory Installed Optional Equipment, K-19 is Air Injection Reactor System, K-20 is Crankcase Ventilation - Closed Circuit (Calif. Cars), and K-30 is Cruise Control.
Based on the information that it is a California car, it may be the crankcase ventilation closed circuit.
Oddly, the example tag given in the service manual on page OE-2, has a tag with the same alpha-numerics int he same spot.: EYSM 2KR 5W
Hope that helps.

As it is a California car and 1966 was the first year for the A.I.R. pump system that is probably what the K is for. All that stuff is long gone now and I do not plan on replacing it. Thanks.
