- Years Owned: My first Toronado was a 1968 W-34 with the bucket seats and center console... (weeps gently) It was a New England rustbucket in 1982 after less than 14 years. So sad. But it is what infected me and before I knew it I had another '68, a '69, a '70 and eventually inherited a friend's '67 and another friends '73. After buying my brand new Grand Prix in 1988 I retired the last of my Toronados and pulled the 455 I had rebuilt along the way and put it into storage in a friend's barn where it is to this day.
In Mid September of 2010 I happened to see a repeat of the show where Jay Leno did his 66 Toronado and had an instant remission of the disease which resulted in my purchase of a 1969 in very good condition. I am now in the process of fully rehabilitating it and hope to have it on the road in the spring of 2011. - Location: Gig Harbor, WA

www.kanter.com has them; I recently bought one. They run about $35.

Well, if you're looking for the rear hose, you get the drum hose. If you need the front hose, it's the disc.

Re: 1970 toro rear rubber brake hose
If Inline Tube wants more than $34 for the hose then Kanter is a better deal... I have dealt with both companies and while I had a bit of an issue with Kanter due to their web-only free shipping, I can tell you that the ball joints I just installed yesterday were top quality and they seem to provide good parts. Same for Inline without the free shipping hassle; I bought a brake delay valve from them recently and it is indeed the part I needed.

While we're on the subject, anyone know if they make braided stainless lines for these anywhere?
Wait, ball joints? Where'd you find those, and for how much? The only ones I've turned up were from Autozone, and $130+ each... Or... wait, does my '66 have different joints than your '69? Did you happen to find some Control Arm Bushings as well? The only lower sets I can find are $75 a side, which seems a little unreasonable...
EDIT: Oh, wait... found 'em on Kanter... they got an entire front end rebuild kit for $312
Which should include all ball joints, bushings, and stabilizer links! Plus, they got a lifetime warranty to boot!
Just what I needed, and at almost half the cost I was wracking up on my own.
