Stock rims

Postby torogt » Sun May 11, 2014 6:48 am

I am in the process of cleaning up my rims to repaint them and i noticed that one rim is little different on the lip, what i mean buy that is three of my rims have a very curved lip and one is almost straight. these are of a 1970. I would like to get them Chromed but it seem to be very expensive!!

i noticed something similar...

i mounted a set of 1970 full wheel hubcaps on my rims. they fit and wont come off while driving but there's a pretty big gap between the hubcap and the wheel...in other words..you can see the rim while the hubcap is on the wheel

i cant say for sure but its possible that my rims came off a 1968 toronado
