Re: torsion bar troubles
Who knows? I suspect I just had the control arm either too down or too high each time I attempted to do it. I know one thing, after having it together and apart 10 times I won't forget again! Lower A arm essentially level to start and pork chop, looking from the front, indexed about 4 o'clock or 8 o'clock, depending on the side. She's standing sweet!

Re: torsion bar troubles
So, I'm reinstalling the passenger side torsion bar and both lower A-arms and wonder how to position them. The last post here indicates lower arms level and anchors at either 3 O clock or 8 O clock to properly preload the bars, is this correct for the '67?
