We watched Midnight Cowboy (1969) this weekend, and my Toro-radar locked on to a 68 rolling down a NYC street at about 45 minutes in. It was dark, but I think it was red with a black vinyl top. Maybe someone in the TOA owns it?
I remember some years back, a web site that listed the movies different model cars were in. Don't remember what it was. Maybe someone does...
Toronado in the Movies
Re: Toronado in the Movies
Thanks Bill. I didn't see Midnight Cowboy listed, so either the spotting was not recognized, or not of sufficient detail to show. I'll see if I can get it on there.
In case anyone wants to check it out, like I said, about 45 minutes in, it's either Dustin Hoffman or John Voight walking down the middle of a NYC street and the 68 drives by him and then the brake lights go on as it comes to a traffic light. I re-watched it in slo-mo to enjoy it for longer
