dash colour ???

Postby roland » Thu Feb 24, 2011 1:36 pm

Need help for my 1966 restauration project. The inner space between front windscreen and dashboard is coloured sheet metal. What is the right colour? Exterior paint, interior paint (dash colour) or matt/satin black ? No known picture can tell me that.

Another question: My dashboard vinyl is badly cracked and broken. Has anyone an idea how to restore it?

many thanks
Roland

The metal in question, (Which I am having a hell of a time finding a replacement for on mine) Is the same color as the dash, and the rest of the interrior. Plum, in my case.

Thank you very much. So then, I have to spray it in that dark blue.
