Searched around both on the website here and on the internet.....I need to replace basically...all of the vacuum hoses.
Any ideas on the sizes and lengths I might need?

Re: Vacuum Hoses
Go to NAPA with the hoses in hand you can buy what every length you think you need. I just bought a spool of two sizes. The trunk hose is larger diameter. All the other macaroni you will have to cut to fit, so don't rip out your hoses, but replace one at a time. If you want the color striped ones, good luck! I've been trying without luck on and off for 2 years (my car is a 67 with Comfortron). I thought the Corvette guys had it, but couldn't actually get any from them. If you look carefully, the white and red striped hoses have the color strip co-extruded with the rubber tube. The other colors are painted onto black tubing. That's probably what I'll end up doing for all of them.
Good luck! Be sure to share a source if you find a place to get any of the color-striped ones!

Re: Vacuum Hoses
Originally I was thinking of just picking up some standard black hose on Amazon (~half the price of FLAPS) but it looks like the color coded stuff is readily available all over the freeking place....its just a matter of getting someone to sell it by the foot rather than in a kit.
So....has anyone replaced their hoses and kept track, even roughly, of how many miles of what color/size hose is in their car?

I found hose by the foot at Fusick....however....it is quite expensive. See below.
We do sell the hose for 4.00 per foot, black hose with the following tracer: plain black, blue, pink, white, yellow tracers available.
order by tracer color and the amount of feet each you want.

Re: Vacuum Hoses
surprising, I know I have asked them before! Well, there you go, at least you can get it, or most of them. Didn't see red or green listed, and I know those are colors that I needed.

Just wondering if any one has gone to Fusick for the vacuum hose and can report on the quality?

Re: Vacuum Hoses
They told me Fuggetaboutit. They dont' sell it. I looked all over and thought I could get it from the Corvette guys, but that was a bust as well. They probably hoard what there is amongst themselves. I went to NAPA and bought a spool of the black vacuum tubing (couple sizes needed), and I have markers that I've purchased to paint the stripes on. It will work well I think! The red and white stripes were actually co-extruded rubber with the black portion of the tube on the originals, but the rest were painted anyway. I don't know exactly how much it will take, but I will try to make notes on it as I go to replace them one by one. I can get you the name of the markers I am using. I bought a set of several colors on Amazon.
