Those Land Cruisers are nice. They've been getting very popular in the last 10 years or so. Prices are ridiculous.

the car stays in my garage ,
after shipping and 5-6 years sleeping in another garage I checked every fluid, battery , put in the key, turn....and i was happy!!!! than i drove 120 miles to my city without a problem, but i didn´t believe it !! after so long time no major leaks only little play in electrical system but i think that´s normal ??? Now i have to make some modifikation for Europe-streets and i hope to get a permit from technical organisation.

Nice car! You'll enjoy driving it.

Brakes look fairly new (paint visible on springs and good meat on shoes). Shock looks old. Check all those out. When I put new shocks on mine after driving it for a couple years I regretted not changing them sooner. They were old and worn. Yours looks like an older style.

What modifications do you have to do for European streets"? Install a 2 liter engine and shorten the car by 8 feet?

Hey guys,
first of all: Merry Christmas to you! But bad news in addition to that, i've got a little problem with my Toronado 1966. Let me explain:
The dipstick for the engine as well as for the transmission gear are unfortunately broken... In my drawing you can see the parameters A, B and C. A describes the length from the end of the dipstick (IN oil), to the top of the tube in which the dipsticks sits. B is the length from the end of the dipstick to the minimum mark and C from the minimum mark to the maximum mark. I assume both dipsticks are not the same, so maybe i need to create two sticks with different parameters...
I hope you can help me with that

How are the dipsticks broken? Can they be fixed?

Anyway, I'll go out and measure my dipsticks and send you the numbers along with photos.

In all photos, the engine oil dipstick is above the ruler and the transmission dipstick is below the ruler. Measurements are in American inches, of course (not Danish inches).
