New to forum

hello, I'm Hubert, new to forum, I have been TOA for 3 years (or 4 ??? dont remember)
I live in France, 15 miles west of Paris, and own a '66 Deluxe !
I bought the car on ebay from Seattle, with only 56.000 original miles. After a gearbox restoration, It is running great and I use it very often on winter time !
Why in winter and not in summer ???
Mostly because the Comfortron system is only able to deliver a (very) warm air flow Lol
Also, the handling of the car is absolutely wonderful on wet or snow !
Since the Toro still have the its original paint ,(almond beige), she is now in need of a new one, along with a rechroming of the bumpers ! I will probably do that next summer !
Also, I must repair the comfortron, but this will probably be THE bug on this car, otherwise perfect for me !!!!

Bienvenue, Hubert!

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada -- and we've been minus 20 to minus 30 C. for weeks now, and everything's covered in snow!

I've been so tempted to take my 1970 Toronado GT out of the garage because it never gets stuck in snow, and my Comfortron heater blows red-hot too in the depths of a frosty January.

Right now I'm driving my '87 Toro and find the heater adequate, but hardly a roaster like the Gen I Toros like you have.

Welcome to the Forum. By the way, when you get around to fixing up your Comfortron, let me know. I have some familiarity with these auto A/C systems and will be happy to help save you hours of energy and point you in the right direction.
