You can drive anything you want just about anywhere in America with virtually no restrictions or inspections. You can even build your own car from scratch and put it on the road.

Being in California, there’s a reason why I like working and driving cars before ‘75: no emissions test (wish is was the 25 year rule, though)! Now only if the gas wasn’t $4.50 per gallon around me for premium…(Costco has it for $3.99 but a distance away).

We have to pay 6.00 to 6.50 $ for a gallon premium fuel. That is averaging 1,50 EUR per litre.
Emission control is as annoying. Reason for me is, no cars younger than 30 years. You get a special H (historic) licence plate for em.

Here in Georgia gas is $2.69 per gallon. That's still $1.00 higher than last year. Thanks Joe!

No emission tests are required for vehicles 25 years or older. This is a rolling number so each year newer cars are exempt.

No safety or technical inspections are required for any vehicles in Georgia. (tractor trailers excepted)

Hi everybody! I´m looking for a good Ignition Distributor for my 1966 Toronado, couse I have a problem with this like at the picture
do you have any recomandations? for that ?? What do you use in your cars ? or what ist the best solution for that ??

I suffered those points ignitions when those cars were built. Soon I
was building electronic ignitions for them. Now days, I would just
drop in an HEI from a 77-79 Olds 350, available new or rebuilt. Not
for a 403, has a poor advance curve.

The problem with that car is clearing the air cleaner, might take some
surgery or a 70s air cleaner. Needs the 8mm wires and set plug gap
to about 0.055 in. The ignition ballast resistor must be shorted out,
wire from the starter not needed. Bruce Roe

Hello everybody
Last time I have a small problem with freez plug on the left and right side of the engine. Can I change that all without the engine replaced? What do you mean?

Hi Jelonek.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you asking whether the core plug can be replaced without removing the engine from the car?

Since I don't have my car anymore I can't look at the plug. When replacing, however, you can use expandable rubber plugs instead of brass or steel ones.

If you can knock the old one into the block and remove it, the rubber ones are pretty easy to install in tight places.
