i got another 66 yesterday,like i need one more? the guy said the motor was good ,but it takes a gallon of water in 5 miles.and blows out white smoke,i wonder if its more likely a head gasget or bad head or block.thank ,mark

If you leave the car sitting, take out the spark plugs and see if any cylinders are wet or have pooling in them. That may help narrow down where the leak is.

Then, I'd go for the easy thing and pull the heads. Hopefully it's just a bad head gasket on one or both sides. It could also be a cracked head as this was a problem I had in the past.
